Trail 10 – Ascent to Gunung Jasar
Starting point: Carnation Park (side entry, marked on Maps.me).
Elevation: 1670m above sea level.
A steady forest climb with rewarding views at the summit.
Trail 6 – Descent to Cameron Valley
Begins from the top of Gunung Jasar.
Leads down to Cameron Valley Tea House.
Can be slippery in the rainy season, but generally safe.
Total hiking time: about 3–4 hours.
From Cameron Valley to Tanah Rata: 3.5 km (return by walking or taxi).
Essential Tips
Carry enough drinking water.
Wear proper trekking shoes with grip.
Long pants and long sleeves are recommended for comfort and protection.
